121 Days of Prayer
I Pray Constantly Against the Wicked and Their Deeds
The purposes of this prayer are: Protection, Ability/Success and Intercession.
Everlasting God, similar to the psalmist, we pray that you help us avoid the snares of the devil. The psalmist wrote, “I pray constantly against the wicked and their deeds. When their leaders are thrown down from a cliff, the wicked will listen to my words and find them true. Like rocks brought up by a plow, the bones of the wicked will lie scattered without burial. I look to you for help, O Sovereign Lord. You are my refuge; don’t let them kill me. Keep me from the traps they have set for me, from the snare of those who do wrong. Let the wicked fall into their own nets, but let me escape.” Psalm 141:5–10 (NLT). We also pray, Heavenly Father, that you thwart the wicked schemes of the evil one and keep us from falling prey to the traps that the devil sets before us. Our faith in Jesus is our shield against evil. Amen.
