121 Days of Prayer

The purposes of this prayer are: Mercy and Healing.

Merciful God, help us to understand why we must bear sickness and disease. Before he healed the blind beggar, his disciples asked Jesus, “’Rabbi, who sinned, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?’ Jesus answered, ‘It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.’” John 9:2–3 (ESV). Lord, there are many among us that are suffering from afflictions and illnesses. Please display your mercy and your glory in each of them and make them whole. We ask in the saving name of Jesus. Amen.
