121 Days of Prayer
For There the Lord Has Commanded the Blessing, Life Forevermore
The purposes of this prayer are: Friendship/Fellowship, Lovingkindness and Gratitude.
God of Our Fathers, in a psalm attributed to David, the author wrote of his appreciation for the harmony that existed among his brothers: “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.” Psalm 133 (ESV). Gracious Lord, unity with fellow Christians should be a goal of each Christian brother and sister. Strife between Christians detracts from the advancement of your kingdom and interferes with proper worship of you, O Lord. Help us, we pray, to eliminate strife and disagreement between fellow Christians. We ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
