121 Days of Prayer

The Earth is the Lord’s, And All it Contains

The purposes of this prayer are: Glorify God/Worship, Illumination and Inspiration.

Sovereign God, David composed a psalm to honor your presence in Jerusalem, writing, “The Earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it. For he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers,” and further, “Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is the King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory.” Psalm 24:1–2, 7–10 (NASB). Lord, this is how we feel about Jesus as Lord of our lives. Listen up, O ears, and hear the good news of eternal salvation through our Lord, Jesus. Open up, O hearts, and let the Holy Spirit come in to completely transform your thoughts and actions toward God. Amen.
