There is No Fear in Love

The purposes of this prayer are: Lovingkindness and The Second Coming of Jesus/End Times.

Heavenly Father, we will all face judgement at the second coming of Jesus. We pray that we are among the recipients of your saving grace. John wrote, “Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness on the day of judgement, because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love. We love because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:17–19 (NRSV). Lord, we pray that you help us to reach perfection in our love of God and of one another. Help us to reveal your love for the world through our love for others. We ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
